Students and their universities can get involved with the 2011-2012 CFA Institute Research Challenge by participating in one of the 90 Local Challenges around the world. CFA Institute relies on Local Hosts – typically our member societies – to invite universities and hold the local competitions. Contact us in order to put you in contact with your nearest Local Challenge.

Without the support of hundreds of volunteers each year, it is impossible to run a successful Research Challenge. We rely on our CFA charterholders to serve as industry mentors, graders, and judges at the local, regional, and global levels of competition.

Industry Mentor: Hands-on work with university students
Report Grader: Review and grade student research reports
Presentation Judge: Listen to and critique student stock recommendations
Local Challenge Organizer: Set up and administer a local CFA Institute Research Challenge competition
